Doing Christmas right this time.
i had a lovely day yesterday. i did my stint in the hospital but was finished by lunchtime! the rest of the day was spent wrapping gifts [yes, i will be sending out a few late ones!], running around the neighborhood, listening to pandora's christmas stations, and watching movies on demand.
charlie brown xmas was a family tradition growing up despite the fact that we don't celebrate in the religious sense [if there is such a thing as lapsed judaism, i would say that describes my family fairly well!].
our other family christmas traditions
✔ christmas music for pretty much the entire month of december
✔ annual blasting of "christmas wrappings" with traditional dance [what? it's so catchy!]
✔ often a trip to the movies
✔ takeout. indian or chinese!
