so it’s my birthday today.
for the past few years, i’ve been lucky enough not to work on this special day — some magic trick of residency scheduling, i suppose. i’ve indulged in massages, pedis, champagne, shopping trips on those days, and yeah — they were pretty fantastic.
but i think this one will be okay, too. after all, i already got the best present ever this year*:

* this will not stop me from shopping for something fun, although i’m going to have to wait until next weekend when josh is off!
