thanx
there are so many things in my life to be thankful for that one thankful day is hardly sufficient.

however, it’s a start. i suppose it’s list-time (when is it ever NOT list time around here? heh)!

things to be thankful for: vacation edition

1. relatives who RUN!

my aunt nancy is nearly 50 and just requalified for boston (she’s run it multiple times). she is one of my running inspirations and took josh and me on a fantastic 6 mile jaunt through the hills of west chester, PA.
yes, josh is now drinking the POLAR kool-aid
2. sweet pups

no explanation necessary

3. men who will not only go skinny jeans shopping with you, but who will offer an honest assessment in the fitting room (thanks, josh!).

check out that bargain price! i’m just excited to tuck these into my new BOOTS
4. FREE aiport wi-fi at PHL, allowing me to write this post at an ungodly hour (the clock just struck 5 . . .)

5. a holiday that takes dessert seriously.

but not TOO seriously.

6. the fact that i get this chance to wish many of you a happy thanksgiving! once again, thank you so much for reading (and commenting!). i hope your holidays are full of wonderful things to be thankful for!

What is the Polar product that you have on your shoe? I have never seen that before. Looks like something I might need from Santa. Thanks!

anon: it is a polar speed/distance monitor. it is similar to the garmins everyone has, but uses acceleration rather than GPS. i find it less frustrating as sometimes the garmins fade in & out — although honestly the polar can be annoying too b/c it needs calibration. the exact model we have is the RS200sd.
