vacation math

my apologies
for this late and unsubstantial post. i wanted to get my long run done this morning, and then . . . what can i say? i'm a slacker on vacation, apparently!

we certainly got it started off right last night:

um, grainy much? can i pass this shot off as 'artistic'? no? well, at least you can appreciate the genuine joy plastered across my face to be beginning my vacation with my favorite person, belgian brew (in ridiculous mug) in hand!

thoughts currently swirling around my brain
1. i don't think i look so good in boots
2. i can't stand the idea of leaving our apartment messy!
3. so it's now vacation cleaning time.
4. yay, laundry.
5. fantastic long run this AM!
6. equally fantastic post-long-run treat this PM (i'll show it tomorrow!)
7. what should i wear to lady gaga?
8. omg, am i really going to lady gaga?
9. and will i be the oldest one there?
10. meh, who cares!

workout: 35 minutes elliptical + weights
- 2 x 12 pushups
- 2 x 12 lat pull-downs, 55 lbs
- 2 x 12 bicep curls, 12 lbs
- 2 x 12 tricep press on ball, 8 lbs
- 2 x 10 walking double lunges, 8 lbs
- 2 x 15 abs (crunches + reverse crunches)

doin' time: no, but i greatly enjoyed my non-martha feast of belgian beer, soft pretzel, and a shared veggie grilled cheese.

reading: nope! but i got in a lovely dose of grey's and glee!

I know! Love locals!! I would be very interested in doing a blogger meet up; Triangle or NC. My fiance and I just moved to Chapel Hill in April, so we're still learning the area.
Beer is pretty much out of the question :( There are a few gluten free beers that are made of rice, but at Milltown I have to drink wine!
