pretty
crocheted creations do not usually get center stage on this site, but i have to take a break from my typical running/eating/ranting fodder to show the awesomeness that my sister wore to her friend’s wedding last night.

she made this dress from scratch. as in, what was once balls of yarn is now this dress. !!!! she designed it to fit perfectly and i am not going to lie, i am way jealous. behold:
the dress

matching bracelet that we found yesterday at dandelion in ardmore’s suburban square, a family favorite. yes she got her birthday present 4 months early!

my sister in her custom creation!

you never know what you’ll find in this house

shopping
i have decided that i may need to hire my sister as my personal shopper. because we were with my mom, we went into talbots to check out their petite section. i have always thought of that store as MOMS ONLY but was surprised to find a couple of things that i liked a lot . . . for me! i didn’t buy anything, but check it:
cute, fun, very soft t-shirt

very interesting leaf eyelet blouse which didn’t fit perfectly but could have been amazing with a little alteration

seriously, i was impressed with the quality and am still thinking about my non-purchases. maybe i’m skipping right from 28 to 45 . . . oh well.

punchy titles aside,
the philadelphia weather has been great! it’s cool and crisp today and i am going to drag josh out on a run before we do brunch. then it’s maybe off to longwood gardens because it’s the perfect time of year, and why not?

That dress is gorgeous – wow! I’ve never been to Talbots…its too bad only the mom type stores seem to have petites sections.

“you never know what you’ll find in this house”–let’s face it, Sarah, you’ll usually find a hamster of one sort or another, right?!
