as usual, (hey, i’m allowed to say that, this is the 4th year in a row!) i’m spending the first day of the year in sunny miami beach. this may, however, be the first 1.1.0x in which i am not stressed about work whatsoever, since things like ‘boards’ and ‘exams’ are totally not in my vocabulary these days, at least until my prelim. crap, that’s not so far away anymore. but i’m not going to even think about that AT LEAST until i’ve left this tropical paradise.
all i have to worry about right now is:
– where is the best place to run so that i can maximize my chances of a matt damon sighting?
– and that’s about it.
REBECCA: if you are reading this, and you haven’t taken your calcium/flossed yet, and it’s no longer january first, you SO owe me pizza. i would also like that salad with tofu and stuff on it. thank you.
