clear, maybe. i’m pretty transparent.
How did you get the idea for your journal name?
i was lostandallalone in lumberton, north carolina for my pediatrics rotation. the name doesn’t really apply anymore, but i do get lost a lot. and ghost world refers to an aimee mann song about graduating from college and not knowing what to do with your life. graduation was a while ago and it certainly seems that i should know what to do with my life, but i still feel like that sometimes, anyway.
What time were you born?
i don’t know, i think noonish? i do know that i was something like 20 days late, and i came out a day before i was to be medically evicted, one way or another.
What song are you playing now, or wish you were playing?
well, josh is sleeping so i don’t really want to blast the tunes. but i have cooler than you by ben folds in my head. i suppose i’m playing it internally.
Has the death of a celebrity ever made you cry?
i cried when elliot smith died.

dark purple
Do you want a baby?
hells yeah. but not right now. just reading the current plight of michelle as she is nanny-shopping makes me shudder, so i know i’m not ready.
What does your dad do for a living?
he’s a non-practicing lawyer. he works for a company that does continuing legal education courses. he has a good job and works a lot, but i have never been able to successfully explain exactly what it is he does. and he’s been there for over 30 years.
What does your mom do for a living?
computer stuff (again, i’m not good at the job descriptions) for a audiovisual equipment company.
What is your pet’s name?
i don’t have a pet. in fact, i’ve never really had (or wanted) a pet. but when i was growing up, my sister and father had a series of hamsters, named (in succession): puff, fluff, stuff, and enuff.

a rather masculine combo of dark red and dark blue.

well, i didn’t really *see* the last hour of it, but i suppose i would have to say friday night lights

i’m not really feeling much dislike in general at this moment. i’m feeling too peaceful.

i’m going out to brunch in a couple of hours but i’m not really craving anything specific. i am currently drinking coffee that is not very hot anymore.

probably, but i don’t remember.

a $40 a day that was done in my very own durham, north carolina! well, half the restaurants were in chapel hill, but whatever. i must say that rachael ray made some good (elmo’s! the barbecue joint! cafe driade!) and some so-so (mama dip’s kitchen) selections.

my ‘infinity’ necklace that josh gave me.

a green long-sleeved t-shirt that my group of freshman designed when i was their JA. on the back, it says: it’s not the size of the gun, it’s the man behind the train. which is apparently something one of my stoner frosh said when very high. as you might imagine, i have not gotten dressed yet.

i think it’s blue and white. it’s a venus thingy.
What is your fave frozen treat?
it’s a toss-up between ice cream (especially coldstone or other extremely bad for you premium stuff) and rita’s water ice (especially their ‘gelato’, made with vanilla custard and lemon water ice).

i’d like to think so.
What’s your favorite shopping store?
probably the gap or banana republic. though i do love nordstrom for shoes and random dresses in the junior’s department.

no.
