cough . . . hack . . . the crap that invaded a few days ago appears to be on its way out. actually, despite the annoyance of such frequent expectoration, i am feeling way better.
which means: now i can actually study!
i started qbank (thank you, thank you, thank you to the lovely people at kaplan who gave a month of it to me for free even though i haven't started teaching yet and therefore have done absolutely nothing for them at this point) and it's scary-hard enough to make me want to study a little (or a lot) harder, especially at the things i suck at (unfortunately, many things at this point).
even though i know i should be isolating myself in a monastery or something, my calendar is unusually full with fun things. seriously, i have some sort of party or engagement on the nights of december 7th, 8th, 10th, 11th, 12th, and 15th. josh and i leave for fort wayne, indiana (for a wedding) on the 16th, and then it's on to philadelphia where i fear it's going to be haaaard to concentrate. i should be trying to be more productive during the day, i suppose. getting up at 9:00 am every morning might be a little on the decadent side . . .
